About Us

We are Jordan and Jocelyn, Southern California sisters with a childhood backdrop of citrus trees and our mother’s garden. Although our recipes are not made from dirt, leaves, and tangerine peels anymore, they’re inspired by our backyard’s ingredients from back then and today.

Sisters Jordan Catapano and Jocelyn Dunn, co-owners of This Girl Walks into a Bar: Mixers + Snacks, bring you beverage mixers and bar snacks created to complete and enhance your bar setup. Set against the backdrop of California outdoor entertaining and dining, their products use fresh, organic ingredients, and they taste homemade.

Southern California natives Jordan and Jocelyn were in business together by the ages of 8 and 10. They worked through conflicts in their sandbox and developed business strategies in the backseat of their family’s yellow station wagon on cross-country road trips. Their “grown-up” collaboration combines Jordan’s extensive bartending and mixology experience with Jocelyn’s professional art direction and graphic design skills. This creative synergy produced a popular blog, three published books, and the successful bartender staffing company This Girl Walks into a Bar: Bartending.
